I saw a couple of incarnations of McCalls 6164 over at Gigi Sews, and couldn’t believe that this pattern had passed me by. I’m a huge fan of 80s-style pouffy sleeves, so I couldn’t resist grabbing the pattern and sewing view D, which seems to have the most ridiculous sleeves of them all.

The fullness in the sleeve head is created with both pleats and gathers. There is an additional option to do something clever with organza that makes the shoulders defy gravity, but even I thought that was taking things a bit too far.

I made a size Medium, but gave myself a bit of additional room in the waist. All the seams are done on the overlocker, and the neckline and hem simply have the serged edge turned to the inside and topstitched. I might actually go back and make a deeper hem,true religion outlet, because it seems to have a tendency to roll up. I also need to make the bottom of the sleeves a little bit narrower. They’re designed to be about six inches longer than your arms,cheap true religion jeans sale, so that they ruche at the bottom, but I’ve got quite little hands and they keep falling down.

It was a really easy top to make, and uses less than two metres of fabric despite the length of the sleeves. For a proper 1980s vibe, I think I’ll be making a crushed velvet one next.

3. Vest

Love it or hate it – or love it, hate it,true religion brand jeans, because of her design, I find this is not a rare feeling – you have to admit, it is definitely one of them. Her shoes always wear? Conscience I can not say every comfortable shoes, a pair of her, but they certainly are a conversation. I found her lace boots (in Saks380.99 $) point of view is the same contradiction. Let me explain.

I think these boots are amazing, I really. I love the rust color, an unusual choice, when so many boots are black, chocolate,true religion jeans outlet, beige or some neutral color. This will be a bold choice color wise, because the shadow is so rare. Maze of straps, as well as amazing is that I think they do a real star of the statement. There is something about their construction, the idea is strange I can find nothing wrong – but here, check out the photo on the back:hotshoesTo appreciate how far the heel,true religion jeans fat girl, but I still want to know how they will be comfortable. This is my only complaint, but because, like I said, visually these boots is amazing. No one knows how they like Camilla Skovgaard into the aesthetic design of innovative architecture.

Heel is from about 4 and ¼-inch overlay, or 110 mm steps, and rough leather texture of their works to its advantage. Similarly, you can not see a lot of things, it makes a truly innovative touch.

But innovation aside, I can imagine this lead to a cut back of my heel. Besides, I do not fully believe, I will take care of. Some of you sacrifice your style comfortable? Even if only a little while?

Thursday “Get Dressed” Furious Shirley

Little Ava [aka Furious Shirley] is just about to turn six months old and I can finally fit back into three pairs of my pre-baby jeans!  Getting back into shape has been tough – I gained close to 65 pounds during my pregnancy thanks to my,true religion megan jeans, “Hey, if I’m going to get fat anyway I might as well eat whatever I want” attitude.  And unfortunately, whatever I wanted was ice cream.  I have no time to get to the gym, so I have had to come up with ways to combine working out with play time.  Ava loves watching me do floor exercises while she rolls around on her play mat.  I count reps out loud to sneak in some number fun and it amuses her to watch my legs going up and down and up and down.  I’m pretty sure it would amuse just about anyone – lol.  For cardio, I usually “dance”.  I put that in quotes because dancing consists of jumping jacks,true religion jeans sale, squats, lunges, and some ridiculous flailing about in time to the music to keep the babers entertained.  So far it has been working and I am down to my last 18 pounds!  Getting dressed is probably one of the most frustrating times of the day for me because I’m not happy with the way my body looks in anything anymore.  So, today’s fashion focus is going to be accessories because a cute bracelet or bag will always be cute no matter what your weight.

Knickers: Pair Three.
Once again from the pattern in Cloth Magazine.

This pair turned out not to be such a success. The fabric’s a polyester brocade,knock off true religion jeans, which doesn’t drape as well as other fabrics. I also used a different type of elastic, thinking that the ruffles would look pretty with the golden butterflies. Unfortunately the elastic isn’t very strong, so it doesn’t pull the fabric in as much as it needs to.

Basically this means that unless I change the elastic, these knickers are just going to fall down! So they’re now on a pile waiting to be unpicked, which is a bit of a shame. Still,wholesale true religion jeans, this is the point of a learning curve,true religion jeans wholesale, so I can’t mind too much.
